Creating Projects

Create a new project to start documenting a building.

Create a project

1. Open Projects

   • Tap Projects in the bottom navigation bar
   • Tap the Create project button

2. Fill out project form

   • The project creation form opens in a web view
   • Enter building address
   • If additional fields appear, select Building type (Detached house, Semi-detached house, Terraced house, Multi-family house)
   • If Year of construction appears, enter the required year

3. Submit the form

   • Complete the web form to create the project
   • When Project created appears, tap Go to project to open the project

Note

Project creation uses a web form that may include additional fields depending on your organization’s configuration.

After creating

The Project Overview screen displays with sections for:

• Stories - Add floors and scan rooms
• Materials - Build saved materials list
• Project Note - Add project-level notes
• Orientation - Check orientation status for scanned stories
• Complete Project - Open upload review when the project is ready

Pre-configuring constructions (optional)

If you know the building’s construction types before scanning:

1. On Project Overview, open Materials and tap Set primary materials

2. Select default materials for Walls, Floors, and Ceilings

3. These defaults apply to all rooms you scan

Tip

Pre-configuring constructions speeds up scanning when the building has consistent construction throughout, such as older buildings with known wall types.

Troubleshooting

Can’t find address

• Check spelling
• Try nearby landmark
• Re-enter with more details

Project not saving

• Check device storage
• Verify app permissions
• Stable internet connection
