Project Overview

The Project Overview screen displays all project sections and navigation.

Project overview sections

Section titled “Project overview sections”

The screen contains five main sections:

Stories

  • Story rows - Each story displays as a row
  • Room Count - Number of rooms per story
  • Tap a Story - Opens Story Overview
  • Add Room/Story - Starts adding a room or story

Materials

Section titled “”
  • Saved Materials - Materials added to project
  • Set primary materials - Tap to set the project’s primary materials

Notes

Section titled “”
  • Project-level notes
  • Project Note - Edit a text note for the project
  • View existing - See all project notes

Orientation

Section titled “”
  • Orientation captured - Shows when a story has captured orientation
  • No orientation - Shows when a story is missing orientation
  • Missing orientation instructions - Story Overview shows Open the note taking and follow the instructions onscreen to capture orientation

Upload

Section titled “Upload”
  • Upload Button - Share and sync project
  • Upload progress - After upload starts, the progress overlay shows Uploading…, Upload Complete, or Upload Failed
Section titled “Navigation flow”

The app has three levels:

  1. Project Overview

    • View all floors
    • Access project-wide features

  2. Story Overview (Tap a floor card)

    • View 3D preview of floor
    • See list of rooms
    • Add or manage rooms

  3. Room Overview (Tap a room)

    • View room details
    • Manage room scanning
    • Add room-specific notes

Project details

Section titled “Project details”

At the top of the screen:

  • Address - Building location
  • Building type - Detached, Semi-Detached, Terraced, or Multi-Family
  • Construction year - When built

Quick actions

Section titled “Quick actions”

From the Project Overview:

  • Set primary materials or Add Room/Story - Tap the primary drawer button for the next project step
  • View a Floor - Tap any floor card
  • Set primary materials - Tap button in Materials section
  • Edit Notes - Tap button in Notes section
  • View Orientation - Check story rows or Story Overview for orientation status
  • Upload Project - Tap Complete Project button in drawer

Troubleshooting

Section titled “Troubleshooting”

Floor cards not showing

  • Check if floors have been added
  • Verify project loaded correctly
  • Try closing and reopening project

Upload button not working

  • Check internet connection
  • Verify you’re signed in
  • Project contains data to upload
