Condition Notes in Web

Condition notes document building conditions and issues observed during field inspections. They are captured in the iOS app, uploaded with the project, and reviewed in the web interface as note review tasks.

The web application lets you review and update condition notes after upload.

What you can do:

  • Review condition notes in the notes or tasks panel
  • Open a note to view its details and attached photos
  • Update the condition fields that are available in Web
  • Mark notes as done or not done during review
  • Focus the camera on notes that have a saved 3D point

Condition notes appear in the notes or tasks panel when the uploaded project includes condition review tasks.

Open the notes or tasks panel in the web project. Condition notes are grouped as review tasks, and selecting a note opens its detail view in the panel.

The note list item shows:

  • Note category
  • Severity, when the note has one
  • Damage description, when entered
  • Done status

Images are shown after you open the note details.

Select a note to open its details in the panel. This shows:

  • Attached photos, when available
  • Category, story, room, outside, and heated or unheated badges when available
  • Assessment
  • Building Part
  • Damage Description
  • Risk Description
  • Notes on the Damage

Condition notes use a severity system to categorize observations. These severity levels are assigned during capture and can be reviewed in Web.

Critical

Observations marked with the highest severity level.

Observations marked with medium-high severity level.

Observations marked with medium-low severity level.

Observations marked for further assessment or review.

Condition notes can be associated with:

  • Attached to specific building elements such as Walls, Floors, Ceilings, Doors, and Windows
  • Document issues with specific building components
  • Attached to specific materials in the catalog
  • Document material-specific concerns or observations

Notes appear after the project has been uploaded from iOS and the web project has review tasks for them. The tasks list shows condition groups and note completion progress.

To review a condition note:

  1. Open the notes or tasks panel
  2. Select the condition note
  3. Review photos, severity, and text fields
  4. Update available fields if needed
  5. Mark the note done when the review is complete

Condition notes are reviewed from the notes or tasks panel. Building element and material notes may also appear near material assignment, but that material selector note list is not the condition-note review flow.

To create new condition notes:

  1. Use the iOS app during field inspections
  2. Capture photos and descriptions
  3. Assign severity levels
  4. Upload project to sync to web

Web review focuses on reviewing uploaded notes, editing supported note fields, and marking review tasks done.

Notes not appearing

  • Notes must be created in iOS first
  • Project must be uploaded to web
  • The notes or tasks panel only shows notes included in the uploaded project and review task data
  • Refresh page if recently uploaded

Can’t find condition notes near material assignment

  • Condition notes are reviewed from the notes or tasks panel
  • The material selector note list is for building element and material notes

Photos not loading

  • Photos are uploaded with the project from iOS
  • Check internet connection
  • Refresh the page
  • Contact support if photos are missing

Want to create a new note

  • New condition notes are captured in the iOS app
  • Upload the project again to sync newly captured notes

Condition notes are created using the iOS app during field inspections. The web application supports review of uploaded notes, including photos captured during field work and severity classifications that help prioritize issues.
